Tree
Trimming and Pruning - We do as much as possible for the tree to improve its health
and restore its shape through trimming and pruning. Through trimming, dead, dying and diseased wood is removed, shape
is enhanced, and limbs can be raised to clear height. We follow the tree-pruning guidelines established by the
International Society of Arboriculture, the organization through which
we receive our certification. |
|
Tree
planting - We can plant trees
selected by you or guide you in your selection.
Informed selection will help to insure the health and longevity
of your new tree and eliminate or reduce maintenance problems in the
future.
We will plant your tree(s) in accordance with the latest
guidelines and techniques in order to insure survivability. |
|
Shrub
and Hedge Trimming - It’s
important to keep shrubs and hedges trimmed on a regular basis as they
can easily grow out of control. We
perform hedge trimming at the optimal time of year for each type of
plant in order to promote its best growth. |
|
Brush
Chipping - Standard procedure is to
remove all brush and tree debris from the property by feeding it through
a brush chipper, which deposits the chips into the back of our trucks. Often customers choose to keep the woodchips and use them for
landscaping mulch or playground bases. |
|
Firewood -
It is your option to have all wood
removed from your property or have it left cut in fireplace lengths. Seasoned
firewood is also available for delivery. |
|
|
Stump
Removal - Stumps of any size can be
removed by utilizing a stump-grinder.
Stumps are ground 10-12 inches below grade with grindings being
either neatly raked back into the “hole” or removed. |
|
Tree Removal - Using proper techniques and equipment we can remove trees of all
sizes.
It is your choice to have the wood removed or left for firewood.
Either way, you can be assured your property will be left meticulously
cleaned and raked with little or no disturbance to surrounding
landscape. |
|
Emergency Storm Work - We’re all too familiar with the wrath of Mother Nature on our trees in this area. If you require immediate service due to a dangerous situation with a storm damaged tree or large branches please call our emergency number at (289) 244-1617. |
|
Cabling
and Tree Repair - High winds, excess
ice or snow, and other causes may result in large branches
“splitting” at their point of attachment to the tree. Cabling involves installing steel cables between major limbs to
reduce the strain and help support the tree. Generally, the cable can hardly be noticed as it reduces stress
damage and maintains the shape of the tree. |
|
Tree Climbing Service - We use expert tree climbers where access is limited. |
|
Aerial
Bucket Service - Where accessibility
permits, we use a 60-foot working height aerial lift truck. |
